Special A road safety campaign Organized by the Panchkula Traffic Police - strict action against traffic violators, 849 challans issued, and two vehicles impounded Panchkula,To strengthen road safety and ensure compliance with traffic rules, a special campaign was launched today by teams from the City and Surajpur Traffic Police Stations in Panchkula. The campaign was conducted in the Panchkula urban and Pinjore areas under the leadership of PSI Abhishek and PSI Varinder Kumar. During the campaign, action was taken against 10 auto drivers for carrying more passengers than the permitted capacity. Additionally, 43 online and 37 offline challans were issued for triple riding. A total of 849 drivers were fined for using caste-related words on vehicles, and two vehicles were impounded, including a Bullet motorcycle, which was fined ₹39,500. Strict action against traffic rule violators The police also encouraged drivers to follow traffic rules and practice safe driving. DCP Traffic/Crime Manpreet Singh Sudan said, "The Panchkula Traffic Police places the highest priority on road safety. We will continue to take action against traffic violators. We appeal to the public to follow the rules themselves and raise awareness among others to prevent road accidents.
