Chandigarh: The Haryana Staff Selection Commission has issued an important update regarding the police constable recruitment process. For the recruitment of 5,500 constable posts in Haryana, barometric verification will be completed before the Physical Measurement Test (PMT). Commission Chairman Himmat Singh stated that this process will be completed before April 15th, ensuring that all eligible candidates can advance to the next stage without any hassle. Verification Process Before PMT: According to the Commission, candidates whose barometric verification was not completed earlier will be given another opportunity. This verification process will be completed before the PMT. This will allow candidates to complete the necessary formalities to participate in the recruitment process. The Commission has clarified that no eligible candidate will be excluded for this reason. A large number of applications have been received. Approximately 270,000 young people have applied for the 5,500 constable posts in Haryana. A large number of these candidates are those who took the CET Group-C exam in 2025. This clearly indicates a lot of enthusiasm and competition among the youth for this recruitment. The Commission is working to complete the entire process in a transparent manner. Relief for Missed Candidates: Commission Chairman Himmat Singh stated that candidates whose biometric verification could not be completed during the CET Group-C 2025 exam will be given another opportunity. All such candidates who have applied for the police recruitment will be verified before the PMT. This will ensure they do not face any difficulties in participating in the subsequent process. The Chairman advised candidates not to be in any dilemma and to continue their preparations. They will be allowed to appear in the PMT only after the biometric verification is completed. The Commission has assured that the entire process will be completed in a fair and orderly manner. The Commission is continuously monitoring the recruitment process to ensure there are no irregularities. Officials say that all stages will be completed within the stipulated time. Candidates will also be provided with periodic updates through official channels to ensure they receive accurate information.
